in the words of peter gibbons, "I did absolutely nothing, and it was everything that I thought it could be."
felt like total garbage yesterday... took a 6 hour nap in the middle of the day, ate dinner watched the giants win the division... went to bed.... woke up because my alarm went off - then realized it was off day... went back to sleep for 3 hours.... awesome.
the only bad part of my day was eagerly looking at the 2013 calendar in hopes that new years day was on sunday again... its on a tuesday. rats. my new years resolution is to remember to use up a vacation day the 2nd day of the 2013.

I would also like to move New Year's Day to the final Sunday of the NFL season every year. That way you have New Year's Day off, then you have Jan 2nd off as well because its a National Holiday.
ReplyDeleteSunday was simply a great day at The Brick. We had 7 people lounging around all day in sweats eating leftovers and drinking the extra booze from the night before, watching football on the Red Zone Channel. It was paradise. I was making pitchers of some drink I found online called a "Bone Crusher" - champagne, Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum, 7 Up, and grenadine. It launched people into orbit. People may have actually woke up the next with broken bones. It was one of the great lazy days of my entire life, and just a awesome way to start 2012.
